Transforming Thailand's Fashion Industry: Saha Group, ECOMMIT, and ITOCHU Corporation Join Forces to Advance a Circular Economy

ECOMMIT partnered with I.C.C. INTERNATIONAL PUBLIC COMPANY LIMITED, Saha Pathana Inter-Holding Public Company Limited (SPI), under Saha Group, and ITOCHU Corporation to expand Thailand's circular fashion infrastructure, with the shared goal of advancing a Zero-Waste Society.
ECOMMIT is a company that builds infrastructure for the circular economy, committed to making a “Zero-Waste Society” a reality by building the infrastructure needed to keep goods in circulation. The company operates seven proprietary “Circular Centers” and its own logistics hubs across Japan, where used items are collected, sorted, and redistributed for new use (Reuse) or processed into new raw materials (Recycle).
Leveraging its in-house Traceability System, ECOMMIT digitizes the flow of goods to accurately measure Reuse and Recycle rates, as well as evaluate and report CO₂ emissions reductions. This Data-driven approach helps create transparency and accountability throughout the circular economy.
Strategic Collaboration in Thailand: Elevating Towards a Zero Waste Society
To build on this success and expand the circular value chain at an international level, ECOMMIT has entered an important collaboration with I.C.C. INTERNATIONAL PUBLIC COMPANY LIMITED, Saha Pathana Inter-Holding Public Company Limited under Saha Group, and ITOCHU Corporation. Through this collaboration, the parties will combine long-standing knowledge, extensive experience, and a successful resource management model from Japan with the strong capabilities and extensive business network of Saha Group in Thailand, to promote and drive the “Zero Waste Society” in a tangible way.
This collaboration has an important objective to create and lay the foundation for Circular Economy Infrastructure to become a reality in Thai society. The collaboration will include the development of a network and installation of collection points to provide convenience in daily life, together with the introduction of ECOMMIT’s Traceability System, its core innovation, for application in Thailand. This digital system will help increase transparency and create the highest level of confidence.
